Ancestry
Meruyert Morgan is a descendant of an ancient aristocratic dynasty of Hakimbeks that traces its ancestry back to the year 1732. Turfan Khans, Sultans and princes were ancestors of Ms. Morgan.

Further development of the Hakimbek family was in large part due to the efforts of Duke Azat Akimbek, a well-known antique collector, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a Member of the International Auction house. Throughout his life, he was one of the leaders of anti-nuclear movement "Nevada Semeipalatinsk" and was an active peace advocate. Another well-known ancestor of Ms. Morgan was Vali Akhun Yuldashev, an honorable citizen of Verny (city now known as Almaty). Mr. Yuldashev was a premier guild merchant and a philanthropist. He is well known for initiating and funding the construction of the unique Zharkent Mosque. He also received several state awards and medals from the Russian Empire and China. For his charitable donations, he was invited to the coronation of Nicholas II, the Emperor of Russia, as an honorary guest.

Another great ancestor of Meruyert Morgan was her grandfather - Balkhash Bafin.

At the age of 19 he was commander in chief of the army. Then he became a member of the Academy of Sciences and a head of the Linguistic Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
