"Where are we running?" - poetry
Author: Meruyert Morgan

In this world, in the world of the 21st century, we are running, rushing towards achievements. Every day we're in a hurry, especially in big cities like New York, Moscow, London, etc. These cities are a good example of a current life style, a kind of "constant race". And one day you look at this, you look at yourself and finally you realize that in this "race" we miss the most important moments, we forget about the best things in life. We don't take time to stop and to get the taste of life. We run, we rush and "scroll pages in the phone", but in fact those are the pages of our own lives...

But... Where are we running? Basically this poem is about all of us, at least about most of us, people of the 21st century.

Perhaps, we should realize that our focal point and our final destination is a grave yard. Remember about it: we hurry exactly there, not to another goal.

We should slow down, smell the air, watch the sea, stop hurrying and start living.

Cause life is about living, feeling and enjoying every single moment, not about running to nowhere, basically. So just enjoy it all, "stretch" every single moment and feel it deep under your skin...

"Festina lente", or
"Make haste slowly."
(Augustus, the first Emperor of the Roman Empire)
Enjoy life.
"Terrace" - poetry
Author: Meruyert Morgan

Put on your ear plugs. Close your eyes, let yourself relax from a hectic day... Recall one of the best moments and feelings in your life. Contemplate and enjoy this poem as your meditation if you feel like having a break from a hectic day.

This poem tells about the moment when two people are tenderly and truly in love. There is nothing else left in the world of Two but a beautiful view on a sea side, seagull cries, a warm wind and only two souls. All five senses are filling their world with pure pleasure... The rest you can sense and imagine yourself. With your earplugs on and your eyes closed just enjoy your life and drift away on the waves of this poem written by a contemporary woman author...
"Politics" - poetry
Author: Meruyert Morgan

This poem is dedicated to all people, because everyone of us is a member of a system, a member of society.

By the word system I mean a family, a company, a corporation, a church, a place or a group of people to which everyone of us chooses to belong.

Think it over: Are you free to express yourself and all your true feelings even within your family circle, inside your company, without thinking over the effect and consequences of your words and actions?

Can you show within any of these systems, how fragile you are?

Politician is the same human being. She or he is basically a cog in a big machine and has to follow the job prescriptions as any other employee...

There is a cliché in our society to blame those who are in politics more often...

Politician is the same human being with his or her insecurities, fears to lose job and long achieved career. The fears of a politician are the same as those of any church priest for example, of any bank employee and of any man built in a hierarchic system.

Just consider, how free you are? And does anyone have the right to blame you for following the rules of the game in your company?

Enjoy watching, guessing the emotions and thinking over...

If you are curious and want to know the detailed meaning of my speech, you may ask any of your Russian speaking friends and have an insight and enrich your vocabulary.

Enjoy your freedom of being you and expressing yourself the way you feel like! Or leave the system... But try to avoid blaming others, you never know what they really feel inside...

Wishing you all Love &Peace
"Au passage" - poetry
Author: Meruyert Morgan

Poem "Au passage" ("a fragment" from French). Explanation in English is below. Art of flirting.

For the English speaking audience:

The title of this short ironic poem is "Au passage" ("a fragment" from French).

It's about the joy of flirting and a lady's little irony.

When a gentleman says, "I dream of having a breakfast with you, my lady," it's just too obvious, what he truly means by this phrase. But covering the true meaning under a gentle phrase can be praised by a little smile from a lady though...

However, she says and suggests to that gentleman, "My friend, it's better for you to take a simpler food in the morning, because you may not digest this particular lady and get poisoned." For she is just "too much of spices" for him...

The flirty irony and a gentle sarcazm are hidden in the original language of the poem.

Keep playing and flirting with elegance.

"O tempora! O mores!"

"The balls" - poetry
Author: Meruyert Morgan

This poem is an ironic allegory showing similarity of medieval balls and gatherings and parties and meetings in the 21st century.

Outwardly everyone is well dressed, sophisticated and pretentious.

All balls start the same way: guests are elegant and reserved as they arrive, they flaunt their titles and family traits. Everyone can see who they are by their outfit, posture, quality of jewels, etc.

However, inside in the crowd there are the same gossips and judgments, the same drinking and flirting, both in middle ages and nowadays. For human nature stays the same in its core regardless of titles, dresses and poses.

The allegory comes to its culmination when at the end of the ball everyone is feeling free, drunk and willing to get together in the shadows of night.

"O tempora! O mores!"

This phrase is applicable to all times, from middle ages to current 21st century. Balls and gatherings, human nature and habits remain the same.

Think about it and watch people around you both in high level society and of the lower class to get the proofs.

Wishing all of you lovely seasonal balls! And try to get at the end of the party as free and naughty as possible!

"Keep your human spirit, so

That regrets will let you go..."
"Appreciate Life"
Author: Meruyert Morgan

How many times we may regret,
How many days we suffer blind!
We blame surrounding and the time,
The wind, the sun, the universe…

We calmly sleep until next time,
We share the thought in narrow circles,
We find supporters and survive.
How long we're gonna waste our time?

'Cause every second of this life
Is truly an exciting moment.
To share the depth within your own pride
Is bigger target for the moment.

Just smell the air, watch the sea,
Just love your family and give,
Give love as much as you can do!
Let feelings flow inside, around you!
It all comes back with bigger power
'Cause God is fair, and life is one!
"Confess to yourself" – poetry
Author: Meruyert Morgan

This poem is about the importance of being honest to yourself first. It's about how essential it is to confess to yourself your own fears, weaknesses and limitations.
Confess it all to yourself to accept it. And after you accept it let it leave you and set your true self free.

The key message is that we all are just human beings and we all have different fears at different times. Even kings and the bravest warriors of all times had their fears, doubts and inner dialogues. But how it limits us! Most of us would like to express ourselves as openly as in our childhood, would like to allow ourselves to fly like free spirits, to get rid of the weight of past and to live now and forever an easy and happy life without any unnecessary limitations.

Would you like to enjoy life as a new born child?
Let yourself be a child again!

Wishing Love & Peace to all.
